The latest update integrates new 5-axis machining strategies in LaserCAM, enabling applications that were previously difficultto achieve in production. A new 5-axis drilling strategy allows precise drilling at multiple angles on complex geometries, making it ideal for demanding applications such as catheter tips in medical technology or injection nozzles in the automotive industry.
This is complemented by mesh slicing functionality that enables true 5-axis machining on curved freeform surfaces, eliminating the need for time-consuming manual adjustments.
In addition, the mesh-fixing feature automatically corrects defective CAD data directly within the software, significantly reducing preparation time and accelerating the path from design to production.
